Floydian Waters: Celebrating 50 years of Dark Side of the Moon (played over The Wizard of Oz or not), this local Pink Floyd tribute band is pulling out all the stops Saturday night. Making sure everything under the sun is in tune is an 11-piece band including five vocalists (Mike Brazeau, Erin Craig, Duke Paetz, Matthew Robertson and Candice Ryan), two drummers and even the lighting and audio techs included — nice job — it’s “guaranteed you’ve never seen anything like this at the Yardbird Suite before.” They’ll be playing all of Dark Side, plus other hits and obscure gold.
Details: 8 p.m. Sat. at Yardbird Suite (11 Tommy Banks Way), $34 in person, $10/virtual at yardbirdsuite.com
The Lebanese Burger Mafia (2023): Omar Mouallem’s much-discussed creative expansion of his short film The Last Baron, this locally made first-person documentary feature is about all things Burger Baron, a rogue fast-food chain with mysterious origins, a cult following and a secret pathway to the immigrant dream. Best enjoyed by grabbing one of those sauce-dripping mushroom mozza burgers after — you know you want it!
