Edmonton Oilers: Shania Twain, Our Lady Peace to headline free concerts before Game 3 and Game 4

If your prerogative is to have a little fun before the Oilers hit the ice in Edmonton this week, Shania Twain and Our Lady Peace are here for you.

The legendary Canadian music acts are scheduled to headline free concerts outside Rogers Place before Game 3 and Game 4 in Edmonton, the National Hockey League and Rogers said in a joint news release on Monday, ahead of Game 2.

Our Lady Peace is scheduled to perform before Game 3 on Thursday, June 13.

Shania Twain will be the featured performer before Game 4 on Saturday, June 15.

Both concerts are ticketless, open to the public and scheduled to start at 4 p.m. in the Ice District’s Scotiabank Fan Park. Doors to Rogers Place open at 4:30 p.m. for game ticket holders.

The Oilers made it to the Stanley Cup Final for the first time since 2006 and are battling the Florida Panthers for the trophy.
