Edmonton weather: Good chance we see snow today

A look at Thursday’s Edmonton weather by Environment Canada.

It’s -7.1 C at the Edmonton Blatchford weather station with 8 km/h winds out of the northwest contributing to a -11 wind chill.

It is but a taste of the months to come but this latest blast of winter air sure sent shivers up the spine.

I was not ready. Simply put. Found myself diving for pumpkins out front of the Superstore without any gloves on and the wind chill darn near froze my fingers. Right, that’s what that feels like. Fool me once…

Not today, Satan. While forecasters are calling for wind chills in the mid teens and decent to good chance of snow, I shall be prepared because I bought gloves from the dollar store and now I’m all set. I am so smrt.
