A look at Sunday’s Edmonton weather by Environment Canada.

It’s -6 C at the Edmonton Blatchford weather station Sunday morning with earlier calm winds notching up to 2 km/h out of the southwest and a wind chill of -7.

If you were up early enough, winds were “calm.” There was NO WINDCHILL.

Then, spring whipped its head around. Now we have snapping gales poised to blast back, gusting to 40 km/h later in the day, with 50 km/h wallops in store for Easter Monday. April fools.

This wind snit, all huffing and puffing, however, comes with sun. And a high of 11 C, ticking up to 12 C April 1.

The waves of breath-defying suckage, the sacrifice, make way for a heavenly 24 C Tuesday.

Then, well, things get dark.

Fool’s spring stomps back mid-week, bringing clouds, rain, possible flurries.
