Happy New Year, Edmonton! We hope you all had a lovely time celebrating the end of one solar revolution and the start of the next, though hopefully sober enough not to get the whole world spinning.

This week’s forecast will start today with what we’ve grown accustomed to: a mix of sun and cloud and fog patches, with a high of -5 C and winds up to 15 km/h that will continue into the evening, bringing the wind chill to -15 in the evening. This will stay mostly consistent all the way up to the weekend. As of Saturday, though, we’ll finally get a really and for true snowfall, for a whole weekend! I can hardly believe it, it’s a New Years miracle!
