Today’s forecast is an excellent example of an old adage, if you don’t like the weather in Alberta, just wait 5 minutes.

This afternoon, for example, will be a balmy 23 C with partly cloudy skies blowing winds up to 40 km/h. Overnight, however, a 30 per cent chance of thunderstorms and a low of 12 C. And Wednesday brings an even higher chance of showers, 60 per cent, with a risk of a full-blown thunderstorm in the afternoon.

But fret not, just wait another five minutes, and Thursday will bring clear, sunny skies and a high of 17 C.
