A look at Monday’s weather by Environment Canada.

It’s 12 C at the Edmonton Blatchford weather station early Monday, with 13 km/h winds out of the east southeast.

Edmonton skies are crying tears of joy and shouting down from the heavens as the Oilers enter the Stanley Cup final!

OK, OK, I’m just trying to put a positive spin on what’s about to be a very windy and wet couple of days. Monday will see roughly 10 mm of showers with a risk of thunderstorms in the afternoon, 40 km/h winds, and a high of 16 C. We’ll get 5 mm more rain overnight blown by 40 km/h winds that will persist into Tuesday where we’ll get some sun showers until around noon, with a risk of thunderstorms in the afternoon and a high of 18 C.

Even with that forecast, we should all be singing in the rain and laughing at the dark clouds above.
