It’s that time of year for the C word. No, not that one. Chill. Wind chill. Be it ever so slight at minus 6 Sunday night.
But a nighttime wind chill with no snow under foot? Darn unseasonal.
Well, Monday’s forecast is mustering to right that, at least somewhat, with a chance of afternoon rain or flurries to stomp in, leaving the inevitable trail of slush.

The foretold precipitation is drafting off Sunday’s cranky winds, to gust from 20 km/h to 40 km/h around noon, pulling all misery behind them.
Misery loves company but sadly for snow-starved winterites, the forecast appears barren of any accumulation willing to stick. Around these parts, anyway.
