Man, 25, suffers life-threatening injuries after 50 Street pedestrian collision: EPS

City police responded to an injury collision at 9:10 p.m., according to an Edmonton Police Service (EPS) release Thursday. Police said they received reports that a 25-year-old man was was struck by a northbound vehicle while walking on the east shoulder of 50 Street near 41 Avenue SW. 

Emergency paramedics attended the scene and transported the man to hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries.

The EPS Major Collision Investigations Section is asking anyone who witnessed the collision, or who possesses dashcam footage of it, contact police at 780-423-4567 or #377 from a mobile phone.
