Monday homicide victim, 37, fatally shot: Edmonton police

A fatally injured 37-year-old man found by officers in north Edmonton after a Monday weapons complaint died of a gunshot wound, say police.

Officers responding to the scene near 127 Avenue and 118 Street found the man, Jordan Belhumeur, suffering from a serious injury before he was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Homicide detectives are now leading the investigation. A Wednesday autopsy showed he died of a gunshot wound, police said Thursday.
