Mounties seek suspect in St. Albert casino robbery

A gun-wielding man robbed the Century Casino in St. Albert on Sunday afternoon.

St. Albert RCMP are seeking the public’s help in identifying the man who got into a dark Jeep Cherokee SUV following the heist.

The call came in at 3:52 p.m.

“A lone male entered the casino, produced a firearm and demanded money,” said a news release from St. Albert RCMP.

Police are not disclosing the amount of money taken.

The RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.

He had a light complexion and is described as being in his 40s and stands about five feet, five inches tall.

He was wearing a black mask, a black ball cap with LA on the front, black gloves, black hoodie, dark jacket and blue jeans.
