Transportation Safety Board investigating midair collision near Villeneuve Airport

A team Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) investigators is being deployed following a midair collision near the Villeneuve Airport.

The TSB said in a news release a collision occurred Tuesday between a Bell 212 helicopter and a Cessna 172, approximately 13 nautical miles northwest of the airport.

There are currently no injuries at this time and TSB said they are gathering information and assessing the incident.
